Privacy Policy

Short version: Tyrian Vault does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to Medephist Studios. Your GW2 API key never leaves your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no tracking.

1. Who We Are

Tyrian Vault is developed and maintained by Medephist Studios, an independent solo developer. You can reach us at support@medephiststudios.com.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Medephist Studios does not operate any servers or backend infrastructure for Tyrian Vault. We do not collect, receive, store, or have access to:

Your Guild Wars 2 API key
Your GW2 account name, character names, or any account data
Your email address or any contact information
Your device identifiers, IP address, or location
Usage statistics, analytics, or crash reports

3. Your GW2 API Key

Tyrian Vault requires a Guild Wars 2 API key to access your account data. This key is:

Generated by you at account.arena.net
Stored only on your device in local app storage
Sent directly to the GW2 API (api.guildwars2.com) — never to Medephist Studios

You can revoke or delete your API key at any time from your ArenaNet account settings. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

4. Third-Party Services

Tyrian Vault communicates directly with the Guild Wars 2 API, operated by ArenaNet, LLC. When the app fetches your account data, your API key and request are sent to ArenaNet's servers. ArenaNet's own privacy policy applies to that data exchange. Tyrian Vault is not affiliated with ArenaNet or NCSoft.

5. Permissions

Tyrian Vault requests the following Android permissions:

Internet — to connect to the GW2 API
Post Notifications — to deliver boss timer and event alarms
Receive Boot Completed — to restore your alarms after a device restart
Schedule Exact Alarm — to fire notifications at precise times

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.

6. Notifications

Boss timer and event notifications are generated entirely on your device using locally computed schedules. No notification data is sent to or received from any Medephist Studios server.

7. Children's Privacy

Tyrian Vault is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we collect no data from any users, no special handling is required.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
